A Month of Magical Memories – Creating a Holiday Bucket List

There is so much to love about the holiday season, however with all the celebrations, activities, events, and hustle and bustle, it can seem as if December is over in the blink of an eye. We all have so much we want to do, but only so many days to get things done. Creating a bucket list filled with fun activities for the holidays will help you manage your time, and get you into the Christmas spirit.

  1. Play “I spy” with the ornaments on your tree
  2. Get cozy by the fire (If you don’t have a fireplace, play a fireplace video on your TV!)
  3. Go sledding
  4. Donate toys to children in need
  5. Build a snowman (No snow? Build one out of treats or craft items instead!)
  6. Go on a candy cane hunt (it’s just like an egg hunt, except use candy canes instead!)
  7. Eat a candy cane
  8. Clean out your closets and donate old clothes, coats, gloves, and hats
  9. Let your kids decorate their own tree
  10. Put on your PJ’s, play a holiday movie, and enjoy a cozy family movie night
  11. Bundle up and take a walk to enjoy your neighborhood’s holiday lights
  12. Take a trip to the library to check out holiday storybooks
  13. Read a special story on Christmas Eve and keep the same story a yearly tradition
  14. Write a letter to Santa
  15. Make paper snowflakes
