Our Mission

Safety, Fun, and Friendship

  • A Safe, Fun, and Friendly Environment. Provide a safe and welcoming afterschool environment, with a wide range of activities and opportunities for our students to grow.

  • Lifelong Learning. Inspire our students to be lifelong learners, encourage creative expression and build their sense of self-confidence.

  • Build Relationships and Communities. Enhance your school’s social dynamic by creating lasting, cooperative relationships across different age groups. Encourage our students to think big, increase engagement in their communities, and make positive contributions to the world around them.

What Inspires Us?

Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.

-Albert Einstein

We have all experienced first-hand how a great teacher – whether it’s a parent, a mentor, or in the classroom – can change your life for the better. Being lucky enough to have these experiences many times in our lives, it becomes crystal clear that one is never enough – we all need as many as we can get! Knowing that sometimes the only thing that has pushed us forward was the great teachers in our lives, we decided to do our best to pass this experience on to others.

In the Apollo enrichment programs, our main goal is to inspire our students to become lifelong learners. This is a process that takes time and effort from everyone involved in a person’s life – their families, all of their different teachers and educators along the way, and from within the students themselves. For our part, we’ll do the best we can in the short amount of time we have!

We believe in learning by doing – our project-based curriculum challenges our students to learn new skills and apply their knowledge by creating works that have a direct impact on the world around them. Play (with a capital ‘P’) is also a very important part of the learning process, and we provide our students with plenty of opportunities to explore on their own under the helpful, safety-conscious eye of their instructors.

Since we really love Albert Einstein, here is a couple more great quotes which have inspired us:

The only source of knowledge is experience

-and-

Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.
