Flower Pot Fairy Houses

Supplies needed:
  • Small terra cotta pots
  • Outdoor safe paint (if putting outdoors)
  • Flowers (optional)
  1. Turn the flower pots upside down.
  2. Use outdoor safe paint to decorate the pot to look like a house – adding doors and windows.
  3. Place outside in a large flower pot to create a fairy garden.

Paper Plate Watermelons

Supplies needed:
  • Paper plate
  • Red/green paint
  • Black pom-pom balls
  • glue
  1. Cut paper plates in half.
  2. Paint the watermelon with the green and red paint.
  3. Use glue to add pom-pom ball “seeds”.

Mermaid Rocks

Supplies needed:
  • Rocks
  • Blue and white paint
  • Metallic chalk pen
  1. Paint rocks with a variation of blue and white paint
  2. Let dry before adding a scale design with the metallic chalk pen.

Patriotic Popsicle Sticks

Supplies needed:
  • Wooden craft sticks
  • Red/white/blue paint
  • Glitter (optional)
  • Star stickers
  • Hot glue
  1. Paint craft sticks.
  2. Use hot glue to attach the sticks together and create flags.

Colorful Q-tip Painted Dragonfly

Supplies needed:
  • Cardstock
  • Paint
  • Q-tips
  1. Cut out a body and wing shape from your cardstock.
  2. Dip a Q-tip into paint and stamp paint circles onto the wings.
